Over 135 Years of Continuous Service

COVID-19 Information

July 8, 2020

A mask mandate for Hamilton County will go into effect at 6PM Wednesday, July 7, 2020, Gov. Mike Dewine announced. We at the Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home will abide by this mandate and ask that all guests and visitors do the same.

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak has become a public health concern over the past few months. We are closely monitoring and following all guidelines from the CDC, national and state funeral associations, and local and state governmental services.

We at Naegele, Kleb and Ihlendorf Funeral Home want to assure the community that we will remain open and our experienced, caring staff will continue to assist families during this critical time. As always, we are making the safety and well-being of you, your family and your friends a priority. In order to do this, we need to make some adjustments for future services and interactions at this time.

  • Our funeral home will be adequately and safely equipped to provide gatherings and funerals in a structured manner and closely following the 6 foot social distancing guidelines. Gatherings can be public or private at the discretion of the family. Masks are optional and can be worn at the discretion of the individual while in the funeral home.
  • We are asking that only immediate family or necessary persons make in-person arrangements. If you are unable to make it into our office, we will help you accomplish everything virtually. Phone, email and texting can be used to facilitate the process. We will do our best to accommodate every situation.
  • Though we have always tried to keep our place clean and sanitary, we are making every effort possible to keep our facility free of germs by implementing extra cleaning measures.
  • We are asking that physical contact, such as shaking hands or hugging, not occur during private and public gatherings and maintain the recommended 6 feet social distancing
  • We ask families that live in the same household sit together and maintain a chair spacing for those not living in the same household.
  • We will abide by each cemetery and church's rules and regulations regarding gatherings.

Remember, losing someone is never easy. And theses unsettling times can amplify feelings of grief and anxiety. Please know we are here to help you through this period to begin the healing process.

We appreciate your patience and understanding in these unprecedented times. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call 513-631-2240.

Most Sincerely,

Bernard G. Naegele
