Anthony “Tony” Robert Gatto, 53, of Norwood, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025.

Born on March 1, 1972, Tony was raised in Norwood and dedicated his life to his family. A hardworking man with a heart of gold, he was known for his love of fishing, his gift for fixing anything, and his willingness to help anyone in need. Tony would give the shirt off his back to a stranger and never hesitated to lend a hand or share a laugh.

Family was the center of Tony’s world. He took pride in supporting his children and grandchildren in all their activities, especially cheering from the sidelines at countless sporting events. His greatest joy came from spending time with his loved ones, whether it was casting a line at the lake, working on a project, or simply being together.

Tony is survived by his mother, Elaine Gatto; his sister, Jennifer Gatto Geisz; his children, Courtney Meade (Cory Meade), Anthony Gatto Jr. (Katie Gatto), Shelby Gatto, Corey Gatto (Kirsten Hall), and Trey Gatto; and his cherished grandchildren, Noah, Parker, Serenity, Greyson, Graham, Kane, and Kolin.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Gatto.

Tony’s legacy of kindness, hard work, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th at 11 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 2420 Drex Ave, Norwood, where friends may call from 10 AM until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to:
