SMITH. Atha Rita (nee Sasser-Howard)  Beloved mother of Jeffery Smith and the late Kelley Ryan. Cherished gamma of Mya Smith. Devoted life mate of Ron Meadows. Dear sister of Glen (Kathy) Sasser, James Sasser & the late Judith Porta. Passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020. Age 76. Residence Norwood. Celebration of Life will be held at the Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home, 3900 Montgomery Rd, Norwood, OH 45212 on Sunday, February 23, 2020, visitation will be from 1-3PM, with a service starting at 3PM. Rita was active in the Norwood PTA for 10 + years before learning braille to become an aide for special needs children. She was the proud owner of Rita's Clip N Dale. She also served 10 years on Norwood City Council.
