David W. Rains

David William Rains, beloved husband of Janice (nee Smallwood) of 49 years, loving father of Michael, Billy and Heather Rains, adored grandpa of Cailin (Ricky) Young and Dylan Rains, caring great grandpa of Lyla, Lucas and Landon, cherished son of Jean and the late Norman Rains, dear brother of Debbie (David) Eichert, Darlene (Dan) Caudill and Danny (Sonya) Rains. Also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. David passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the age of 67. He was a lifelong resident of Norwood and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, racing and cars. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14 from 4-6 PM at Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home.
