David Lee Robertson

ROBERTSON,
David Lee, beloved husband of Thelma "Shelly" (nee Shanahan) for 64 years, passed away peacefully

on December 18 at the age of 84 surrounded by family members. Dave was the cherished father of

Caitlin (Sam) Nicolosi, Suzanne (Barry) Brewer, Tricia (John) Whitaker, Mary Beth (Tom) Lawson and

Amy (Per-Ola) Forsgren. Preceded in death by his parents, Loretta Nagel Robertson and Frank

Robertson, Jr., and his brother, Gordon. He was a playful and loving grandfather to Gina Nicolosi

(Bradley Cahill), Lisa (Sarvani Prasad) Nicolosi, Sara (Justin) Nolan, Jennifer (Caleb) Westbay,

Courtney Brewer and Erik Forsgren, and a caring stepgrandfather to Jordan (Mike) Nauman, and

Robb, Allie and Michael Lawson. He is further survived by his great-grandchildren: Kelsea, Kyley

and Kora Cahill, Kavi and Anya Prasad Nicolosi, and Sophia and Stella Nolan, as well as three nephews

and a niece. A third generation lithographer, Dave followed in the path of his father and Scottish

grandfather and worked for the Strobridge Lithographing Company in Norwood, and later retired from

Young & Klein Printing. Following retirement, Dave combined his artistic talent and wry humor to

create hand-drawn, comic greeting cards to share with family and friends under the pseudo-brand

name "Hoot Mon, It's A Robertson Card - Too Cheap To Send Real Cards". Loved and treasured by

many, Dave will be missed. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 28, at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic

Church, 7754 Montgomery Road, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.,followed immediately by a Mass

of Christian Burial and interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in St. Bernard.
