STURDEVANT. Donald W. beloved husband of Jane D. Sturdevant (nee Tietje), devoted father of Betsy, David & the late Donna Sturdevant, step father of Heather Mathews, Cynthia Rosplock & Steven Solsky, grandfather of 3 grand daughters & 1 grandson, step grand father of 9, great grandfather of 5 & step great grandfather of 13, dear uncle of Jean Smith, Burt Sturdevant & Donald Naurez. Don was a 1940 graduate of Johnson City, NY High School. He retired from IBM after 34 years, he also ran a successful realty business for many years. He was an active & dedicated member of the American Legion Post #758 of Johnson City, NY, he was active in the VFW & a member of the Mason's. Passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014. Age 94. Memorials may be directed to All Saints Episcopal Church, 475 Main St., Johnson City, NY 13790. Funeral services private at the convenience of the family.
