James Edward Dawson. "Jim" Devoted husband of Rebecca Dawson (nee Timerding). Beloved father of Jessica (Eric) Payne, Heather Timerding, Rhonda Gilliam, Jimmy (Rocky) Byington & the late Jamie Timerding & Joey Dawson. Cherished Papaw of 9 & 2 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Tracey Miller & Jackie Dawson & preceded in death by other siblings. Loving brother-in-law of many. Caring uncle of many nieces and nephews. Passed away Friday, September 18, 2026. Age 71. Residence Norwood. Jim loved spending time with his grandchildren, they were his life. He also loved a good cup of coffee. Queen City Transport was always so good to him and Jim's family is so thankful for their service. Visitation will be held at the Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home, 3900 Montgomery Rd, Norwood, Ohio 45212 on Thursday, September 24 from 6-8PM. Graveside services will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery on Friday, September 25 at 11:30AM.
