Marcus beloved husband of Velma (nee Wilson), loving father of Michael (Alexandra) Burnette, adored Opa of Jennifer (Kelly) Minor, Kimberly (Shane) Vallance and Mikayla Burnette, cherished great Opa of Andi Fisher and Harper and Brooke Minor, dear brother of Shelby Scott, Nancy Johnson, Shelia Gross and Sharon Boyd. Preceded in death by his siblings Stella Bray, Pat McKnight, Jerry Burnette and John Burnette, Jr. Passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the age of 84. Residence Norwood. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 1-2:30 PM at the Naegele, Kleb and Ihlendorf Funeral Home, 3900 Montgomery Rd, Norwood, where a funeral service will follow at 2:30 PM
