Cindy was an avid reader with a keen interest in history, but she had particular interest in her Scottish Heritage, becoming an active member of the Scottish Highland Clan MacNicol Society of North America. She attended the Clan MacNicol Federation International Gathering on the Isle of Skye in 2008, saw much of the country, and located her father’s birthplace in Selkirk.
