Peggy Julia (nee Fox) beloved wife of the late John Elder Cochran, Jr, devoted mother of Carol Anne (Larry) Slusher, Mary Jean (Joseph) Ratterman, Lora Lynn Cochran (Ray Knopp) and Julia Anne Hackney, loving grandmother of John Slusher, Joseph (Michelle) Ratterman, Laura (Anthony) Gabbard, Allyson & Katlyn Hackney, great grandmother of 5, caring sister of Betty, Lorena, Juanita, Geraldine, Bobbie & the late Cornell, Cordell and Oneida, dear friend of Jean Huesman, also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012. Age 79. Residence Norwood. Funeral services will be held at the Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home, 3900 Montgomery Rd, Norwood on Tuesday, October 9 at 12 Noon, where friends may call from 10 AM to 12 Noon. Memorials may be directed to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer or Heartland Hospice.
