Ronald E. Wilson

WILSON. Ronald "Ron" of Norwood passed away at the age of 85 on April 25, 2016. He was born April 4, 1931. He served in the United States Air Force, graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in 1970 and he worked for the Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company for 34 years. Friendly and outgoing, Ron volunteered for The Christ Hospital Care Unit, Charlie's Three Quarter-Way House, The Salvation Army and was on the City of Norwood's Building Commission. He sponsored 40 people on their road to recovery. He worked the Norwood High School football chain gang for 25 years. Ron is survived by Marge, his children Donna, Paul, Mitzi, Mary and his six grandchildren Jake, Marie, Abby, Jay, Nick and Quinn. Ron donated his body to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Celebration of Life to be held at the Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home, 3900 Montgomery Rd, Norwood, Ohio 45212 on Saturday, April 30, from 10AM-12PM.
