Russell "Rusty" Thompson

Russell "Rusty", beloved husband of Ruth (nee Davis) for 43 years, loving father of Lindsey Thompson and Sarah (Ray) Hibbard, cherished papaw of Leah (Kody) Roszak, Logan Jones, JR Thompson, Ian and Anna Hibbard, adored great papaw of Ella Roszak, dear brother of Melody Coler and the late David Thompson. Passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the age of 72. Rusty was funny, smart, so kind and oh so talented. He was the very best husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He is sitting at the feet of Jesus now, just where he wanted to be. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In memory of Russell, memorials maybe made to Vietnam Veterans of America at vva.org
