Sophie Grace Hughes

Sophie Grace, our flower girl, our little sunshine, our sassy Sophie, our hunny bunny. We remember our precious Sophie, who joined the Lord on April 15, 2026 after a courageous and beautiful journey. She amazed us each day, beating the odds as she showed us just how tiny but mighty her body and spirit were.

Sophie was born full term and alive, baptized minutes after she was born, and came home to her family after 2 days in the hospital. She breathed, ate, and thrived on her own, giving us 66 unforgettable days filled with nothing but love, laughter, and all the Sophie snuggles. She was a blessing from the beginning, and we are honored to be a part of her story.

Though her time with us was brief, the impact she made is everlasting. She leaves behind a family who will cherish her memory forever. Her love will live on in our hearts and in our lives until we meet again.

Forever tiny, forever mighty, forever loved. Fly high, baby girl.

Sophie’s Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 26 from 1-4pm at the Fernbank Park Lodge. Food and beverages will be provided
