Thelma "Shelly" A. Robertson

ROBERTSON. Thelma "Shelly" (nee Shanahan) beloved wife of the late David Robertson for 64 years, passed away peacefully on February

16 at the age of 84. Shelly was the cherished mother of Caitlin (Sam) Nicolosi, Tricia (John) Whitaker, Mary Beth (Tom) Lawson and Amy

(Per-Ola) Forsgren. She is survived by her brother, James P. Shanahan. Preceded in death by her parents, James A. & Thelma Hack

Shanahan, and her sisters Marlene Shanahan Kloth and Carol Shanahan Fallon. She was a loving grandmother to Gina Nicolosi (Bradley

Cahill), Lisa (Sarvani Prasad) Nicolosi, Sara (Justin) Nolan, and Erik Forsgren, and a caring step grandmother to Jordan (Mike) Nauman,

and Robb, Alexandra and Michael Lawson. She is further survived by her great-grandchildren: Kelsea, Kyley and Kora Cahill, Kavi and

Anya Prasad Nicolosi, and Sophia and Stella Nolan, as well as three nephews and three nieces. As a young girl, Shelly attended St. Elizabeth

School in Norwood, and the friendships she made there lasted the rest of her life. Following her graduation from Regina High School, she

married her high school sweetheart, Dave, and raised their five daughters, which Shelly believed qualified her to go straight to Heaven

(and quite possibly bring a sinner or two with her). She and Dave remained devoted to each other until his death in December, 2013, and her

family is comforted by knowing that they are again together. Shelly was treasured and will be missed tremendously. Visitation will be on Friday,

February 27 at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 7754 Montgomery Road, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed immediately by a Mass of

Christian Burial and interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in St. Bernard.
