Wayne Dawes

Wayne E. Dawes, beloved husband of Jane Dawes (née Cornett), passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the age of 76, surrounded by his loving family.

Wayne was the devoted father of the late Angela (Gianluigi Demari) Dawes, Francine (Dallas) Turner and Randy (Sarina) Dawes. He was the cherished Papaw of Alyssa, Alyson, Zachary, Cameron, Jaxon, Brooklyn, and Peyton, and adored great-grandpa of Isabella, Xander, Bexley, Dustin, River, Zaylee, and Zavier. He is also survived by his sister, Shirl Porter.

Wayne found great joy in fishing, camping, and traveling, especially exploring the western United States. He was an avid sports fan who faithfully cheered on the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds. Above all, Wayne treasured time spent with his family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for those closest to him.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, from 10 AM until the time of his funeral service at 12 PM at Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home, 3900 Montgomery Road, Norwood.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
