Franklin “Frankie” Wayne Bates II, beloved husband of Sarah Foster Bates, loving father of Kyler Ross, Kayden Bell, Jaelyn Clemons, Franklin Bates III and Jamison Foster Bates, cherished son of Franklin Bates, Sr and the late Linda Sue Bates, dear step son of Dani Crane and Jack Brockman, adored brother of Kevin (Amy) Lawrence, Rebecca (Chad) Puterbaugh, Marci (Paul) Bientz, Misti (the late Jamie Smith) Herzner, Julie (Keith Sears) Bates, J.T. (Julia) Bates and Sarah Bates, Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Passed away on Thursday April 6, 2023, at the age of 43. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 12 at 4:30 PM at Naegele Funeral Home in Norwood, where a gathering will begin at 3 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with his funeral expenses.
