Judith "Judy" Lynn (Connelly) McDevitt

Judith Lynn McDevitt, known as Judy, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at the young age of 64 after a short but courageous fight battling cancer.

Judy was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 11, 1957 to the late James and Margaret Connelly.

She was a loving mother to Shannon Boeh (Jason) and the late Michael McDevitt. She was the proud grandmother of Sophia, Stella, and Nathan. She is also survived by her brother William Connelly; sisters Julie Ionna (Steve), Peggy Stanford (Dave) and Pam Connelly-Bevis; and nieces and nephew.

Her passion and life's work was simple: people. Whether it was her protective nature that her siblings recall from their childhood, her love of her family- especially her daughter and grandchildren, her years of volunteering at Cure' of Ars, her decades working in the service industry, or her deep-seeded admiration for America's veterans, she spent all stages of her life focused on those that surrounded her. Her favorite days were spent on the water with family and friends, but the ones that could not be were certainly spent enjoying life in conversation with others, whether it was a customer, a friend, or the customers who became friends.

The visitation will be held on Friday, March 26th from 9:30-10:30 AM with mass to immediately follow at Guardian Angels Catholic Church at 6539 Beechmont Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio.
