Lucille "Lu" Frances (Haarmann) McCaffrey

McCaffrey. Lucille Frances "Lu" (nee Haarmann). Beloved wife of the late James J. "Mac"  for 53 years. Devoted mother of Patricia (Eric) Arps, Michael (Linda) and Dan McCaffrey. Cherished grandma of Kelly, Kara & Kassie Arps and Ashley (Derek) Lilleskov & Brandon McCaffrey. Dear sister of the late Ruth Matre, Rita Speed & Paul Haarmann, sister-in-law of Bill Matre, Marge Haarman and the late Walt Speed. Also survived by other family and friends. Passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020. Age 88. Private Memorial Mass for immediate family only due to Covid restrictions will take place at Holy Trinity Church in Norwood. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Lu's last selfless act was to donate her body to science to educate others.
