Cherished granny of Jocelyn, Robert Jr., Nathan, Nick & Kamilah and Kamal & Elijah & Honesty, Karen and George & Kashiya and Andre. Great granny of Jeziah. Precious daughter of Norma Jean Nelson & the late William Allen and Jack Philhower. Dear sister of Jackie Maxey, Vivian Young & the late Carl, David & William Philhower. Passed away on Sarturday, May 13, 2017. Residence Cincinnati, Age 57. Wilda "Granny" Evans was not only a mom or grandmother to her actual grandchildren but to everyone she met. She was caring, kind, and very loving. She was not only a great wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, but she was a therapist, doctor, teacher, or whatever you needed her to be. Whatever you needed she would be the first to help you and support you in anything you were doing,no matter how stupid it was. She always kept it real and only wanted the best for every one she cared for. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be at the Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home, 3900 Montgomery Rd, Norwood, on Friday, May 19 at 12noon, where friends may call from 11AM until time of service.
