PITTMAN. William E. "Bill" He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sheila Pittman (nee Beaty). He is also survived by his sisters, Marie Meece & Anna Lee Compton and brother, Jim Pitman. Preceded in death by sister Judy Tucker and brother Gene Pitman and parents Denton & Grace Pitman. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Born in Faubush, KY. Age 70. Passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020 at his residence in Norwood, Ohio surrounded by family. Bill loved working on cars and going to cruise-ins, but more importantly, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home, 3900 Montgomery Rd, Norwood, OH 45212 on Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 3-5PM. Visitation will be held again at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 KY 80, Somerset, KY on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 11AM to 1PM with funeral immediately after. Burial will take place at Chester View Cemetery in Nancy, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Chester View Cemetery.
