Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

I got my Associate of Arts Degree back home in Carroll, Iowa in December of 2002. I worked at a local funeral home there for about a year before moving to Cincinnati to attend the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, graduating with a Bachelors degree in June 2003. I served my year apprenticeship in Canal Winchester and became a licensed Ohio funeral director & embalmer in September 2004.  I then moved back to the Northern Kentucky area, getting my Kentucky license in 2005. At the beginning of 2007 I started working at Naegele Funeral Home and a year later moved to Norwood. I am currently the Past President of the Greater Cincinnati Funeral Service Association.

Funeral Director and Embalmer Apprentice

I received my Associate Degree of Allied Health at the community college back in my hometown of Jackson, Ohio in December 2018. The next month I moved to the greater Cincinnati area to begin my career where I worked at a local funeral home as a funeral attendant and start schooling at the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. In April 2020, I graduated CCMS with honors, Magna Cum Laude, and received my Bachelor of Mortuary Science degree. Excitedly, I will be serving as an apprentice funeral director and embalmer here at Naegele Funeral Home for the next year, where I then will become a licensed funeral service professional. Also, I am an Insight Certified Funeral Celebrant. Outside of the funeral home, you’re likely to find me on a coaster at an amusement park, shopping at the mall, or sipping an iced coffee at a local coffee shop.
